[2024-5] Pond Dock Repair [IN PROCESS]

The pond docks have reached the end of their useful life.

This has been accelerated by the family of geese that has taken up residence in the pond. These geese spend a lof of time on the docks, which significantly increases the wear and tear to the docks.

We have retained contractor to repair the docks.

However, the useful life of the docks will be significantly reduced if the geese remain in residence, or the size of the gaggle increases.

Update August 19, 2024:

Matteo (our vendor) began repairs to Pond docks today.

Upon completion, the new planks will remain unfinished while they dry / cure.

After the planks have had sufficient time to dry / cure, we will have them finished with a stain and sealant.
